Kaichō Damien, Sensei Hannah, Sensei John and Sempai James recently travelled to Southwestern Victoria for the 25th anniversary reunion of  Kaichō Damien's first karate school in Cobden. The reunion was well attended by over 100 people, ranging from members of the original dojo to members of the current club. The dojo is a member of the Zen Do Kai Freestyle organisation and was also attended by Soké Bob Jones (Zen Do Kai founder) and Kyoshi Billy Manné.

Sensei Alan Kirby, the founder of the first dojo, also attended. Other 1^st generation members at the reunion included Kaichō Damien, Andrew ‘Sam’ Dalziel and Paul Jeffrey.
